Press Club Elect New Exco's
In a spectaclular event on the 5th of July 2004 in the college refectory, all members of the press
club gathered for an election for the new executive committee members for the 2004/2005 accademic session.
The voting process was not really a voting process as most members stood up to indicate threr interest
in a particular position which they find there interest in. The first position up for bids was that of the Editor in chief/president
which saw 5 people biding for the positions, they include-- predictable winner Ojumu Gbenga, Gidado Temitayo, Oladimeji Olaolu,
Adetona Ademola and Oladimeji Olaolu.
the winner emerged and it was announced to be Gidado temitayo followed by Ojumu Gbenga, Adetona
Aemola and the remaining two with 1 votes each.
Ademola Adetona and Ojumu Gbenga were given the positions of News-Editor and Assistant news Editor respectively
for there hardwork and for the sucess of the club in the near future.
There was a tie in the first scheme of another post which was that of the Sports Editor as babalola
daramola an Oyetakin akinjole were up for the position as the leading in the group. The first scheme of the vote was not tidy
so another was done and Babalola daramola emerged as winner, a position he has been eyeing for months.
